This ensure that users have the appropriate access while protecting sensitive content.
As of today “Course Category” is renamed as “Course Type” on the Schedule and Details and there are a few changes on the options listed to better fits with Foundever’s needs:
Selecting an option will allow learners to better filter courses on the catalog.
All of the following items have been changes to better fit to Foundever global design system.
LMS: fix language selector
Fix links to Explore in call to actions when no courses/programs are available
Admin Panel: fix error when users search users with an accent
Fix the problem answers report on the Instructor tab
Studio: fix the style to create a learning path
Admin Panel: fix the style of the search bar
We have streamlined the course creation process by removing the Organization field. This simplification eliminates unnecessary complexity.
To prevent unauthorized access to full public courses, users with disabled catalog privileges will no longer be able to self-enroll. This change ensures that only validated courses are accessible to users, mitigating the risk of data loss and maintaining compliance standards.
Admin Enrollment Requirement: Users without catalog access seeking access to full public courses must now be enrolled by an admin. Admins are responsible for confirming the compliance of courses in terms of security before granting access.
We have streamlined the course creation process by removing the Organization field. This simplification eliminates unnecessary complexity.
We are thrilled to announce an update to our platform – the Multilingual Course feature. This enhancement empowers Studio Admins by allowing the creation of a single course available in multiple languages. You will no longer need to duplicate efforts by creating separate courses for each language.
Here’s what you can expect from this feature:

Logs on Studio provide transparency into the activities within Studio, allowing users to track changes made to Courses and Learning Paths. Every action within Studio is timestamped, providing a clear sequence of events and indicating who initiated each action.
You can find Logs in 2 different places:
We are pleased to inform you that we have released one improvement in order to better support and advise our learners. You can now, as an Instructor, Studio Admin or Platform Admin view SCORM component as a specific learner (when the SCORM module is displayed inside the course and not in another tab), in addition to the entire course, option that was already available. This will help you to guide learners when they have concerns or questions about completing their SCORM or their course as a whole.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new and improved Quiz Component, designed to elevate the experience for Studio Admins:
1. User-Friendly Interface:
The new Quiz Component comes with a user-friendly interface, providing Studio Admins with a more intuitive and efficient experience. We’ve focused on accessibility, ensuring that creating and managing quizzes is a straightforward and enjoyable process.
2. Elimination of “Coding” Interface:
Say goodbye to the complexities of the previous “coding” interface. The updated Quiz Component replaces it with a visual and interactive design, making it easier for Studio Admins to navigate and use the tool effectively.
3. Diverse Question Types:
The Quiz Component now regroup a variety of question types. Studio Admins can seamlessly incorporate Multiple Choice Questions (QCMs), Dropdowns, Numerical input, and Text input.
From the Studio, under Content tab, you will find a new tab called “SCORM“. There you will have access to all SCORM that you previously uploaded within this particular course.
We are proud to announce the launch of our new and improved Catalog, designed with a focus to improve your browsing experience. This update brings a new Catalog interface with reorganized filters and optimized content layout:
1. Larger Search Bar:
Our new Catalog offers a significantly larger search bar, and you’ll be able to switch easily from Course search to Learning Path search (if enable).
2. Streamlined Filter Organization:
To help you quickly find the content that interests you most, we’ve reorganized and optimized the filtering system. We have also add a pagination to load the explore page more quickly.
3. Enhanced Content Layout:
The improved content layout maximizes visibility and accessibility to directly explore and engage with content that can matches your interests more accurately.
Following some users feedbacks, we have added a small label on the course pages to let learners know within the course that the course is archived.
We’ve made significant improvements to the Drag & Drop functionality in Triboo. The user experience has been greatly enhanced, providing you with a smoother and more intuitive way to create Drag & Drop activities. With this update, you can now set easily your activity, create zones directly using your mouse and easily add custom background image, allowing for greater personalization and creativity.
We prevent users to add badge to sub-section with any graded component.
With this update, Studio Admins can now easily highlight new courses for a limited time:
Studio Admins can now designate a course as “New” by adding a special tag to its course card. This option, named “Mark as New Course,” is accessible under Schedule & Details > Introduce Your Course.
When a course is created or has new content, admins can enable the “Mark as New Course” option to indicate its freshness. The duration for which the “NEW” tag will be displayed on the course card is customizable.
This helps learners quickly identify and access new or recently updated courses.
We believe that this feature will significantly improve the visibility of new courses and assist admins in promoting their latest content effectively.
The “date joined” information has been added to the endpoint called “Get users”.

This update enhances the user experience by streamlining the visibility of Archived Courses for learners.
Here are the key details:
By implementing this update, we aim to create a cleaner and more focused learning environment, reducing the potential for learner confusion or distraction caused by Archived Courses.
Make sure you don’t forget anything when creating your course by checking off each step of the Studio Checklist.
You can access Checklist from any page while creating a course by clicking on Quick Start (at the bottom right of the page).
The checklist includes the following important items that you need to complete prior to launching your course:
In the Explore menu, the catalog displays all available courses, whether learners are enrolled in the course or not. This can be confusing and inconvenient for the learner when searching for a course.
To make things easier, we visually indicate on the course card this differentiation, allowing learners to know at a glance if they are not enrolled, enrolled, or have already finished the course.
If you want to know more, please click on the post below:
Batch Enrollment: https://csc.learning-tribes.com/2023/03/02/batch-enrollment/
Learner Registration: https://csc.learning-tribes.com/2019/08/15/manual-account-creation
You can download the list of users registered in the platform by clicking on “Export Users List (.csv)”. After few seconds/minutes (depending on the number of users) the report will be available under the cloud icon.
Platform Admins can have access and copy API credentials information by selecting the text and use their keyboard or click on the “Copy” button.
Get Course Outline: retrieve the course outline (sections and sub-sections) for the requested course and Get ILT Learner Report: retrieve the ILT report for all active users.
Now courses and learnings path visibility in the catalog by default will be set to “Private” to avoid displaying a lot of upcoming courses and learning paths to learners in the catalog.
New API endpoint to reactive an inactive account: https://csc.learning-tribes.com/2021/11/04/triboo-api/
In a course, when a video is set to full screen, it is displayed as a pop-up. The background around the pop-up is now grayed out to improve the viewing experience.
Triboo Search Engine for Studio and Explore has become more accurate.
Search operator has switch from “OR” to “AND” allowing users to refine their search by adding more words. In addition, fuzzy string searching is also implemented to help users when they misspell a word or type it partially.
“My Courses” tab is replaced by “My Training” and this tab is now before the “Explore” tab. If you mouse over the My Training catalog, you will see 2 sub-tabs: Leaning Paths and Courses (if the Learning Paths are enable on the microsite). Same thing for Explore tab. The catalog icon is now a magnifying glass (instead of an open book).
We have added the user’s last login date and date joined in each profile information. The total number of users is also mentioned at the bottom of the user management page.
Triboo Integrating content from external tools such as Genially, Articulate, Padlet, H5P and many others just got easier!
A new component is available in the Studio: External Web Content. Studio Admins can now have direct access to the most popular authoring tools, helping them choose the right one according to their needs and easily integrate their content into their course using iFrame code.
Find out more information and instructions on each of them on Triboo’s CSC:
https://csc.learning-tribes.com/2021/05/26/external-web-content/
If you set a course start date in the future, then the course card display will be different and a note will be added to the learner, to let them know that the course will start in a future date. Learners won’t be able to enter the course before the start date.
A new button “Finish” on the last page of each course has been added. Initially there was no button that clearly indicated to the learner that the course was over.
Clicking on this button will trigger different things:
Another way to create a course in Studio is to re-run a course. When you re-run a course, most of the original course content is duplicated to the new course and more specifically the SCORM module are duplicated (unlike the export/import functionality of courses).
Check our CSC post: https://csc.learning-tribes.com/2022/02/15/duplicate-a-course-re-run-feature/
Get Course Progress Report: All the users that are enrolled in a course with progress information. Informations are returned for active enrollments of active users only.
Bulk Enroll: This is a simple API endpoint that allows user with staff role to bulk enroll users to one or many course.
Analytics users sometimes need to export a list of all ILT sessions corresponding to one or more courses, and this was not possible because they cannot filter by course in the ILT Global Reports or ILT Learner Reports.
So we are adding a new “Select Course(s)” filter in the ILT Global Report and ILT Learner Report allowing Analytics users to list all ILT sessions for the selected course(s) before exporting them on Excel.
In the Studio, we decided to rename “Multiple Choice” and “Checkboxes” because they were not consistent:
→ “Multiple choice” becomes “MCQ: single answer”
→“Checkboxes” becomes “MCQ: multiple answers”
Starting today we are releasing Learning Path in Triboo. A feature that will allow you to add more than 2 existing courses to build a learning program.
Super Studio Admin will now be able to efficiently organize a group of online courses together for learners to progressively build knowledge. This will bring a more structured and automated approach to their training and create a better learning experience.
Learners can keep track of their online courses consolidated in one place helping them to drive accountability in a more efficient way.
With Triboo you can manage Learning Path by:
If you want to feature to be activated in your environment, please contact your project manager to set the date.
We have also created CSC articles to guide you in management of Learning Paths:
Create Users: create an account for one user.
Update User: update one user account.
Get Users: retreive basic information about a given user or a given list of users.
Deactivate User: set as inactive the account of a user. This won’t delete any data but only deactivate the account. The user won’t be able to login.
Get Courses: retreive the list of all the started courses matching the org_filter associated to the API credentials (slug, apikey, secret) including their information.
Get User Courses: retreive all the courses the user(s) is (are) enrolled in with progress information. Information are returned for active enrollments of active users only.

We have renamed the word “Progress” to “Grades” inside the “Course report” category from the Analytics section. This will provide the correctly define information that is intended to be shown.
Studio users will receive a red error message prompted when they try to add emoji on section and sub-section titles. This allows for Analytics to work with no system blockage and enhance its performance.
When you add a badge to a course, the “Threshold” field is automatically set to 80 (minimum% success rate). If this rate needs to be changed to 70 or 90 by default for your client let me know.

The Studio interface has been optimized to be more easy to use. A design focus on facilitating the user experience when creating and setting parameters on a course.
With the Admin Panel, Platform Administrators can manage and update all platform users in a dedicated tab. They also have the ability to enroll a learner to multiple courses without having to go through the course instructor tab. Administrators are also autonomous in the assignment of roles and permissions.

A design focus on the user experience; new filter based on custom period to narrow the data ant optimized export to have access to the files from all tabs. Finally a new tab to customize export and personalize the data tracked.
Note that the periodic filter will not apply to a period prior to the implementation/release of version 2 of Analytics, but will apply to future periods.
New information is available under the “Progress” report: the completion date of each badge. Furthermore, the export of this report will split in 3 different columns the following information: one column to inform about the success or not to the badge (yes/no), one column for the score (in %) and a last one for the completion date.
Note that at the deployment, the badges completion date will not apply to a period prior to the implementation/release of version 2 of Analytics, but will apply to future periods.
A new component is available under the Resources main block. You can add iframe directly from copying and pasting a URL.
Studio Admins have a new option that can be set to calculate the completion on only the passing score of the course. This option is managed course by course.
This change cannot be automaticaly retroactive. If a Studio admin changes the rule for a course, we will not be able to recalculate all the scores. However, if learners logs in the course overview page again their score will be recalculated.

The new design of the filters and search bar on the catalog allows a clear and uncluttered view; the user experience is easier and the look-and-feel more modern. Note that all filter types/attributes remain the same.
The learner now has access to a large catalog of external content (selected by Edflex) directly on Triboo platform. A switch button allows them to easily navigate from the “official” internal catalog of the company with courses created on the platform to a catalog of online resources (MOOC, podcasts, articles, TEDxTalks conferences…).
Now below the quiz, a learner can see how many attempts are available/used to pass the quiz and get the badge.
Allow Course Admin and Course Staff to add certificate related to a specific quiz inside a course (instead of a global certificate).
Learners can unenroll themselves from non-mandatory courses, with a button that is available at the bottom of the course presentation page. This is an optional platform feature and can be enabled/disabled as per the Client request!
The ILT Calendar at the bottom of the page has been redesign to promote a more modern experience for users. Thanks to the ILT Calendar, you can see when your next ILT and/or VILT session is planned.
From the Studio, you can now choose “microlearning” as course category. Then learners will be able to filter courses in the catalog to only show those marked with this Course category!
Available on the Learner Dashboard, the Leaderboard can be enabled or disabled on each client microsite. The Leaderboard displays the top-5 learners and learners can have access to a dedicated page by clicking on the “Show more” button or from the menu under their profile picture.
The leaderboard is available in 🇪🇸 Spanish / 🇧🇷 Portuguese / 🇺🇲 English / 🇫🇷 French / 🇨🇳 Chinese
From Triboo Analytics, you now have a one-click, easy access to the gradebook of the course, prefiltered on the learner you previously selected.
