Learning Path and Courses Enrollment

  • If you are already registered to the course, you will see the “Resume Course” button
  • If you are not registered to the course and the program you will have a “Start” button
  • If you are not registered to the Program at the top of the page you will see an “Enroll” button
  • Learners can unenroll from a program thanks to the button at the bottom of the page (can be activated with a flag on the microsite like for courses)
  • Learners cannot unsubscribe from a course if they are first enrolled into the learning path. They must first unsubscribe from the learning path before doing what they want on the course.

Learning Path and Courses Unenrollment

Learners won’t be unenrolled from a course if they unenrolled themselves from a Learning Path. They need then to also unenroll themselves from the course. The same rule is applied from unenrollment by instructor, course staff and admin and Platform Admin when they unenroll users from Learning Paths.

Exemple:

  • I’m enrolled in courses A, B, C.
  • I am enrolled or I enroll myself in a Learning Path with courses A, B, D => I’m now enrolled in courses A, B, C, D + the Learning Path.
  • I unenroll from the Learning Path => I’m still enrolled in courses A, B, C, D but I’m no longer enrolled in the Learning Path.
  • I can unenroll myself from course D if I want.

Pre-requisites

If you set course as prerequisite (on Schedule and detail of the course > Requirements > Prerequisite Course) you will see a different layout. Be carreful if a course is used in different learning path
