Adding Custom Pages

You can customize your course by adding pages. Each page that you add appears in the navigation bar of your course. When you add a page, you also add its content using an HTML editor.

1. Go to the tab Content and click on the section Pages.

Note: The minimum mandatory tabs you will have is: Home and Course. The three other tabs are, by default, set on every course created are: Discussion, Wiki, Progress.

2. If you wish to add new pages, click on New Page or Add a new page.

3. A new line will appear, called Empty. Click on Edit to change the name of your new tab.

4. If you wish, for example, to add a FAQ, click on EDIT on the “Empty” line that appeared. Go in Settings.

5. Write as Display Name: FAQ.

6. In the live version of your course, the FAQ tab will have appeared in the order designed in the studio. If you wish to change that other, click on “drag to reorder” icon and drag the page up or down according to your needs.

7. If you wish to rearrange the order of your tabs, click on  at the right end of the tab line and slide the line up, or down as you wish.

Note: you can hide the page from learners, by selecting Settings, and then select true for Hide Page from Learners. By default, pages are visible to learners.
